In this adaptation of the O. Henry short story, Soapy is unhoused on Christmas Eve in New York City, and all he wants is to spend winter on “Blackwell’s Island”, the local penitentiary. Unfortunately Soapy is less adept at getting himself arrested than he hopes. Soapy will put in the work, but will he get to do the time?
